Awesome Summer Mocktails!

Here we come with some amazing and refreshing summer drinks. These drinks

are the best way to beat the heat after a long tiring summer day. Everyone loves

the bright red color of watermelon, so first we will make watermelon mojito. This

wonder fruit is soaked with lot of nutrients. It is full of antioxidants and vitamins

which helps improving your metabolism. Also, it is 92 percent water only and

helps you fight dehydration in summers.

 

Watermelon Mint Mojito

Preparation Time: 10 mins

Serves: 2

Ingredients

2 cups chopped watermelon (seeds removed)

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tsp sugar

2 tsp ginger ale *(recipe give at the end)

Mint leaves – 15-18

For Garnish:

Medium size balls of watermelon

Mint sprigs

How to Make

1. In a large bowl or jug, add watermelon cubes. To it add sugar and blend them with

the help of a blender.

2. Then add mint leaves, ginger ale and lemon juice to the watermelon juice.

3. Strain the mixture to remove any seeds.

4. Take a tall glass or mason jar, pour the juice into it. Add some crushed ice and

decorate with watermelon balls and mint leaves.

5. Serve chilled!

Tips

 You can avoid straining the mixture if you like watermelon chunks coming in your

mouth but be careful that you remove the seeds before. Because seeds in

mouth?? Naah!!

 You can even add soda to make it a fizzy mojito.

 To make cocktail, mix the watermelon juice with ½ cup of vodka. Rest ingredients

remain the same.

 Ginger Ale

Ingredients

½ cup chopped ginger

1 cup water

¼ cup sugar

¼ tsp black salt

Juice of 1 lemon

How to Make

1. In a saucepan cook ginger in water at medium flame for about 10-15 minutes.

2. Once cooked, strain the mixture and discard the ginger.

3. Add sugar and lemon juice. Mix well till sugar dissolves.

4. Add black salt and mix.

5. Store the ginger ale in an airtight bottle in refrigerator and use it when you

prepare mock-tails.
